Myriam Cohenca, Meytar Moran, Anat Icar Shoham, Yuval Naor

The photography, video art and mixed media exhibition by new members of Grosso Modo Collective Myriam Cohenca, Meytar Moran, Anat Icar Shoham and Yuval Naor - focuses from four different angles on aspects related to alienation, displacement, memory, identity, and its influence on the artists' interpretation of external reality and self-definition.

Myriam Cohenca is a French-Israeli photographer and video artist who works between Tel Aviv and Paris. Cohenca works collaboratively with other artists, musicians, and sustainable brands. She is undertaking a Master in Arts and Vision under the direction of Yann Toma at Sorbonne University, having previously studied psychology and photography.

Meytar Moran holds an MFA in photography, video & related media from SVA, School of Visual Arts, New York. She’s a member of the editorial staff of the 'Daat Tvunot' series published by Idra book press and a core member of the new online publication 'RESEN' for conceptual and computational Hebrew poetry. Her first poetry and art book ”Step, Harm, Wound', was published in 2022 with the support of the Rabinovitz Foundation and earned her the In-Print Art Book Fair's Promising Artist Award for 2023.

Anat Icar Shoham is a fine art photographer who works and lives in Israel. She holds an M.Sc. Degree from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. She has participated in several exhibitions in Israel and abroad.

Yuval Naor works in photography, video-art and installation. He graduated from the Department of Photography (BFA, Cum Laude), Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem, where he was awarded the Rami Halperin Prize for Excellence in Photography. He has participated in several exhibitions in Israel and Europe.
